On 1 May 2016, the Savings Bank’s Union, SP Fund Management Company, Sb Life Insurance, the Central Bank of Savings Banks and Sp-Koti formed the Savings Bank Centre. To make the consortium more concrete, a decision was made to house the operations under one roof, instead of using four different offices. The new renovated premises at Teollisuuskatu 33 further improve cooperation between the companies.
The management set greater cooperation between units and across organisational boundaries as the main objective of the move to shared premises, with the idea of providing a more comprehensive and extensive service to customers of the Savings Bank Centre. At the new premises, the location of the organisations was customer-driven, largely forgetting the traditional organisational and unit boundaries. The organisations also have access to a shared project and conference centre that can be used to manage development projects logically.
